Activist, advocate, and artist Glenn Simpson recently completed work on “Pieces of Recovery: The Puzzle Project.” This arts and social justice project provided folks and families a simple way to show and tell their unique recovery stories by creating an individual puzzle piece. The pieces were then connected to tell a much larger story. The 418 pieces represent the 418 drug poisoning deaths in Maine in 2017. The 40’x35’ puzzle will be traveling the state of Maine communicating the power of connection.
